With EZE-Catcher you’ll be catching calves in half the time with less stress for you, mother cow and calf.
After the initial set-up the calf catcher is very easy to use and fast to hook and unhook to/from an ATV or UTV.
Drive up behind the calf, use the foot pedal to open the front double doors of the calf catcher, then close the doors once the calf has entered the cage. Release calf through exterior door once you’re finished.
To catch a calf, navigate the ATV or UTV among the cattle and target a specific calf to catch.

Over the years we had many customer ask us if we had a digital scale that integrated with our calf catcher.
We developed this digital scale system with a 3000 lb capacity that utilizes the inner carry cage to weigh calves. This integrated system enables a rancher to work in the field, check the calf’s health and weigh them without moving them to a new location.
The scale is easy to use, just place the calf in the carry cage, press the digital scale head, get the calf’s weight, then release the calf through the exterior door of the cage.
We’ve had good feedback from ranchers who say the scale is a convenient tool that’s saving them time and increasing productivity.
This system is based on what we use with our popular line of EZE-Feeders and it’s proven to stand up well to the harsh Canadian Climate.

EZE-Catcher calf catcher fits both ATVs (Quads) & UTVs (Side By Side). The ball coupler system enables you to hook and unhook to your vehicle quickly & conveniently
This video shows how quick and easy it is to hook and unhook the calf catcher to/from your ATV or UTV.
◾ The calf catcher is identical for ATV or UTV models but the bolt on mounting bracket is specific to the vehicle.
◾ We currently have 3 universal models of mounting brackets that are adjustable to fit most vehicles.
◾ If you need a custom fitted bracket we can accommodate, no problem.
◾ Eze-Catcher uses front & rear mounting brackets that use ball couplers to hook and unhook from the vehicle.
◾The rear bracket is stationary but the front swings open so you can position the quad or side-by-side next to the calf catcher cage to hook and unhook with the ball couplers.
◾ For UTV’s with doors, the drivers door needs to be removed for operation.
◾ Shipped on a pallet with all parts, it is assembled in a short amount of time a few basic tools.
◾ Initial set up involves attaching the tire and mounting brackets then adjusting the brackets fit your ATV or UTV.
◾Assembly instructions are included and our staff are here to assist with questions.

A calf catcher is designed to speed up catching and processing calves during calving season. For cattlemen and cattlewomen, it can be an essential piece of equipment to get the job done in calving season.
A calf catcher keeps ranchers safe and reduces the risk of injury when working with calves. Mother cows can be protective and sometimes aggressive when a rancher needs to separate the calf to work with it.
Calving season can be busy and hectic, the cage keeps the rancher protected form loose cattle in the fields and pastures so he/she can focus on working the calf.
Some calf catchers are stationary used in one location, but EZE-Catcher calf catcher is a mobile calf catcher that hooks up to a Quad / ATV or Side-By-Side / UTV enabling a rancher to capture calves out in various pastures.
Eze-Catcher is a side mounted calf catcher; one side hooks up to the ATV or UTV and the other side has a tire that allows the cage to be driven out into the fields.
The cage is designed with welded steel construction to reduce noise and rattles.
A quieter calf catcher reduces stress in the animal, the rattling and loud noise could startle and stress the calves.
The cage has two twin door that create a wide opening, making it easier to capture the calf without injuring it. Hands-free operation, the doors are operated with a foot pedal.
A small interior cage enables the rancher to contain the calf, making it easier to tag and care for it. The carry cage is also used to transport the calf and is useful for leading a mother cow, who will follow the cage with her calf in it.

Without the catcher cage, ranchers chase and wrestle with the newborn calves to capture them. With the cage, they can drive up behind the calf, open the doors with the foot operated pedal then close the doors to capture the calf, no running or wrestling involved.

The calf catcher is designed to fit most common models of ATV/UTV on the market.
We have three styles that fit most common models on the market. Front rack mount and Front bumper mount.
The front & rear mounting bracket assembly adjusts up and down and in and out to accommodate the height and length of the ATV/UTV the calf catcher is being mounted to.
For ATVs or UTVs that are outside the scope of common models we can fabricate a custom bracket, no problem.

You can, but you’ll need to purchase an additional mounting bracket. Then you can easily switch between the ATV and UTV by hooking up with the ball couplers.

The initial set up requires that you bolt on the front and rear bracket assemblies to the calf catcher cage and the vehicle.
Owners manuals can be downloaded and they provide detailed instructions.
To use the calf catcher you hook it to/from the ATV/UTV with the ball coupler, just as if you were hooking up a trailer to a ball hitch.

Transporting a calf with the calf catcher is easy. There is a small inner carry cage, that locks securely containing the calf as you move it to a new pasture or a warming hut. The EZE-Catcher calf catcher is designed with sturdy steel welded construction which reduces the rattling and noise helping keep the calf calm during transportation.
If you need to move the mother cow to another pasture or to a barn put the calf into the carry cage and the momma will follow her calf in the cage.
